Insulation

Inefficient ductwork insulation can be a key player in energy loss, inconsistent temperatures, and condensation issues. We specialise in several insulation products for all ductwork applications. From flexible duct wrap to durable rigid slab, and externally weatherproof cladding in various colourways, we have you covered for all applications.

Duct Wrap Insulation

Duct wrap is a flexible insulation material applied directly around ductwork to reduce heat loss and prevent condensation. It is available in different thicknesses to suit various applications, from basic temperature control to higher-performance thermal requirements. Duct wrap is commonly used on both supply and extract systems in commercial and residential buildings.

Rigid Board Insulation

Rigid insulation boards provide a durable, high-performance solution for thermal control and acoustic reduction. They are typically used where a neat, robust finish is required or where higher insulation values are specified. Thickness and density can be selected to meet project specifications, building regulations, and energy efficiency targets.

Fire-Rated Insulation

Fire-rated duct insulation is designed to maintain the integrity of ductwork in the event of a fire. These systems are tested to provide fire resistance for specified periods, helping to prevent the spread of fire and smoke between compartments. Different ratings and build-ups are available depending on the fire strategy and regulatory requirements of the building.

Flameshield Insulation

Insulation on Flameshield ductwork provides enhanced fire protection whilst also offering thermal performance. Whether its duct A, B & C, we cover insulation to suit the specification. Flameshield is commonly specified in environments where both fire resistance and integrity along with insulation performance are critical. Systems can be tailored to meet required fire ratings and project specifications.

External Insulation

For external ductwork, insulation is often finished with weatherproof cladding to protect against rain, UV exposure, and temperature fluctuations. Options include aluminium, stainless steel, and a variety of colours to suit the building’s appearance. Thickness and finish are selected based on environmental exposure and performance requirements.
